Committing to Life!

The mental preparedness for every venture is everything. The WHY is the key that provides the drive with which people can accelerate through whatever they set their minds to.
The trick lies in peoples ability to recognize their strength and work at improving same. We all are required to set a mental reminder that will do the work of a clock, being triggered by a quote, a symbol, a song or other depending on the person.
On another note, people can adopt the SMART strategy; this helps to ensure that attention to details is matched in principle and practice.
SMART means, Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Reliable and Time bond. Your goals must carry these features, only then can you befriend success.
The blueprint for success is not always clearcut but its design is expected to follow a predefined path. And in acting out our specific economic roles in a bid to be self sufficient, clarity of mind cannot be substituted by vague expectations.
The perceived benefits must first be visualized and achievable within a particular time frame. This is all it will take to move forward as individuals. Or as a people.
In 1964, Tai Solarin used the elixir, 'May Your Road be Rough' to explain that success comes only by persevering through thick and thin.
In his words: "Life, if it is going to be abundant, must have plenty of hills and vales. It must have plenty of sunshine and rough weather. It must be rich in obfuscation and perspicacity. It must be packed with days of danger and of apprehension."
The take away here is that, one will appreciate the small victories in life only after experiencing the entire package of high and lows.
