Violence?
Overtime, I have tried to accept the display of violence, but find that I simply can never get comfortable with how people embrace the so called jungle justice syndrome. I have tried to rationalize the fact that, victims of these atrocities often deserve the maltreatment for their crimes still, I get this awful feeling that something has gone terribly wrong with how people perceive our justice system. I do understand why people always find ways to vent or express their anger and frustrations at the inadequacies of our law enforcement agencies, but each time I arrive or witness a scene of violence fear leaps into my heart. Yet I live in a society where such scenes are common place. You see, right from when i was a kid, watching grown ups fight, or get bitten regardless of the reason behind it, raced my heart much faster than it should, but not out of intrigue. I envy people who simply embrace these scenes without qualms, and who could just as easily incite or participate in them. Post
